A mix which grew out of complacent conversations with @questionablepearls and wanting to frame the month a bit better. I’ve been listening to slower music lately, which channels none other than the master (mistress?) of soothing tunes. November tends to have a sheen of lethargy, anyhow.

Oddly enough, this will be the first November @questionablepearls and I will not see each other after … four years? Which means these fine texts have emerged from the depths of iMessaging. Toho~.

november. or, how time flies.

Technically, November is National Novel Writing Month, but seeing as how that is not going to happen this year (or ever), perhaps it’s a sign for me to devote myself to this tumblr a little more this month. Browsing my ‘archives’, I realized that I used to update much more often a year and half ago. What happened? Who knows. Perhaps that’s something to boringly explore at a later date.

My fellow biddie @whythebigsuit and I are brainstorming potential ideas for a joint project sometime next year. But in the meantime… it’s nice to have some record of time passing by. I was never really one for intense, private introspection on written record (way too cringe-inducing). Emo-nes is out of the question. I tried something similar in April 2010 on a word doc, but that quickly devolved into a narcoleptic Bridget Jones’ Diary in terms of style. So let’s see what becomes of the ramblings of yours truly. People always have more to say when things get started. Twenty-eight days should be enough for the well to run dry.
